General Rules
- There will only be 8 entries, per each category,
each week.
- There will be only one entry accepted per
member, per category, per week. To
clarify, this means the same person, on the same week, can submit a Jossverse
pic and an Otherverse pic. Please submit each
category’s pic separately.
- Submission of entries for each week’s contest will begin on
Sunday, at 10:01pm. Submission of entries closes
Wednesday at 10:00pm. The entries
will be posted asap after receipt, voting will begin Wednesday night and voting will end Sunday, at 10:00pm. All times are Eastern
Standard.
- Entries will be considered on a “first received,
first posted” basis.

The
contest is open to the entire S’cubie membership. If you have registered on the
message board, you are eligible. However, to make things as fair as possible, Technopagan entries
will not be considered as submitted until the second full day of the entry period
(Tuesday, 12:01am, EST). Since they are
present all the time, they have an unfair advantage when it comes to submitting
entries.
- All entries must be submitted to the proper
email addresses, josspic@soulfulspike.com or otherpic@soulfulspike.com (noted in the Jossverse and Otherverse
Rules below,) in order to be considered.
Please do not send any email other than GRAPHIC CONTENT
email to these addresses. It will not be read, but simply discarded as
trash.
- The picture must be sent as an attachment,
included in the email. There will
be no “retrieval” of pictures from places for the contestant.
- All submissions should be titled, even if it’s
something akin to “John Doe’s JV POTW entry for week 5.”
- There will be no “holding” of over-submitted
pics “for next week’s contest.” If you desire to re-submit a picture,
whether it was lost or whether it missed the cut-off, it must be resent.
- Animated pictures will not be eligible. If the picture moves, it’s void.
- The
staff reserves the right to resize entries to make them fit the pages
and/or reduce “quality” for space and loading considerations.
12. Any picture that receives complaints
about ownership will be removed from the contest and removed from the site.
These complaints could be due to ownership by various production companies, a
plagiarism quibble on artwork and so forth.

These may be shows and movies represented by the categories available in Avatar Alley (http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/alley.htm)
in Other Shows and Movies, or may be from other television shows and films. The Staff reserves the right to disqualify entries in this category that we consider not suitable for The Soulful Spike Society. *narrows eyes warily*
