There are several ways to contact "staff" for help. Of course stickin' your head out the window and hollerin' probably isn't the best method. (Not to mention it annoys the neighbors.) Some report that posting an open message on the S3 message board isn't even as effective as that!

It is always recommended that you identify yourself with your Soulful Spike Society ID, as it may differ from your real life monicker and email. We don't need our poor ol' technopagans any more addled than they already are. They are busy keeping the mystic forces of darkness at bay and can get distracted.

*quietly removes Erin's clutched fingers from around the throat of a complaintant* We don't do that...not in public! Shan, you said you'd watch her! Remember, the little blue pills, every 4 hours! Oh, you have your hands full with Rachael and her de-spining. Never mind, I've got it. Oohhhh, Karen...!!!
Ahem...err... they are frequently lurking about day and night and are....very efficient at what they do. Give the tech's a message board IM first, or if that fails or you can't log on, you can send them an email.

Also, don't hesitate to IM them on the board if there is a board problem like: unintentionally locked parts, missing posts or someone is really annoying you.
